This was the first conference of Internet Marketers in India, which was held at Della Resorts, Lonavala. This conference was very informal as it was the first summit and there was a big advantage of the conference being informal and also a slight disadvantage for newbies as well. I met with many Indian Internet Marketers with some of whom I had a virtual connection and there were also some with whom I had no connections; it was a great event to meet and dine with like-minded people.

The good thing about the event was almost everyone was very humble, friendly and eager to share their experience and the informal disadvantage was for three newbies who were expecting perfect schedule of talks, which did not happen but in the end they got what they wanted from Gaurab Borah who patiently explained many things about Internet marketing to them and everyone learned a lot from the 2 day Desi Summit 2014.

The talks were from Abhi Dwivedi, Ankur Shukla, Cyril Gupta and Anwesh. I thoroughly enjoyed their talks and would like to thank all the speakers for sharing their valuable experience with other marketers.

A couple of marketers, Tarun and satyajit also stood out who were doing their apps business, tee spring, Facebook marketing and CPA. They also shared their success stories and their experience.

The Food was good at Della Resorts but it is located on such a huge area that we had to take a car from reception to a drop point near the tents in which we had accommodations and then climb stairs to reach our cozy tent.

I believe the next conference would be in a major city where we do not have to take a car to reach our rooms and there will be no freeloaders 😉

The event was organized by Naved Peerzade, Rohan Chaudary, Harshal and Dinesh. They all live in Pune which is very near to Lonavala and they worked hard to get all the things done.

Conclusion: I learned a lot of about successful Launches, Email marketing, CPA and some other tricks.

Overall it was a great experience and I would love to participate again in 2015. I would recommend people who are new or experienced in Internet Marketing to attend this conference in 2015 as it would be lot of fun and great experience.
